Neuropsychology Assessments.

ADHD, LEARNING, IQ, PROCESSING

Neuropsychological assessments involve cognitive testing (such as IQ, attention, memory, executive functioning, and academic performance) to characterise a person’s cognitive strengths and weaknesses. This type of assessment can identify and diagnose ADHD, specific learning disorders (i.e., dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia), intellectual disability, and intellectual giftedness.

Autism Assessments.

The Neurodevelopment Clinic provides autism assessments for individuals of all ages. The assessment involves evidence-based tools (e.g., ADOS-2 or MIGDAS-2 depending on the client), standardised rating scales, observations, and clinical interviewing. The written report can be used to support applications for funding through the NDIS.

Individual Session.

The Neurodevelopment Clinic offers individual sessions to help determine whether a full neuropsychological or autism assessment is warranted. These sessions involve a clinical interview and review of relevant background information to guide next steps. Following the session, tailored recommendations are provided, which may include proceeding with a full assessment or exploring alternative supports.

Social Groups.

Our social groups offer a supportive space for autistic young people to learn more about autism, share their experiences, and connect with like-minded peers. The focus is on building understanding, celebrating strengths, and fostering a sense of belonging. Sessions are relaxed, affirming, and tailored to the interests of the group members.
